When this joint came out, I put in work to record it from the radio with a cassette tape, and then I played it back over and over so I could learn Da Brat's part. I am not ashamed.

The other day I found a whole bunch of CDs that I burned a long time ago. One of them was called "Trey's PHAT mix" and this joint right here was on it.
When you hear old songs, do they automatically bring back memories? a place that you once visited? an old fling? I think that's my favorite part about going through all my old stuff. Not only do I get to enjoy the songs, but I also get to reminisce for a hot second. I was a freshman in high school when this Field Mob joint came out! That seems like so long ago.... Anywho, ENJOY!

I've been on a Maroon 5 blitz today for some odd reason, woke up with it in my head and been playin' random songs throughout the day. And Rihanna looks great in this video, so this is the double-whammy. Enjoy that.
By the way, "Makes Me Wonder" and "Hard to Breathe (Remix)" are a couple of my other fav tracks by Maroon 5. Spread music and love (my attempt at being deep). PEACE!

You know, I usually just post an old school video and leave it at that. But I got the inspiration for this joint because I was listening to some old Jeezy and IMMEDIATELY recognized the sample. Remember back when I asked y'all if sampling was good for music? Well, I say yes. The Jeezy track has a completely different meaning than the New Edition track, appealing to a whole new audience, but takes you back simultaneously.
