What I Learned Today

A lot of people are worried because of the recent events in the world. Everyone is speculating, but what does God say? I heard an analogy today that really put things into perspective.

When we were little, our parents would tell us not to do certain things and we would obviously abide by those rules when they were around. However, if they left the house or something, we strayed from what we were taught. But if we knew that it was time for them to come back, we behaved again in anticipation for their return. That way, we wouldn't get in trouble.

The same applies with the Lord. When He appears, you want Him to be able to say, "Well done my good and faithful servant". Live your life as if He is coming back any minute, and obey Him at all times. Live with the constant expectation of His return and you won't even have to worry about the events of the world.

1 John 2:28 "And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming"

Homie, tha's real.
