Riddle Me This

Mar 4, 2009

Why do people false claim eeeevvvverything nowadays? If you do not know what I'm griping about, then allow me to enlighten you.

Have you ever been excited to tell someone about a new discovery that you've made, or something that you've recently been exposed to...only to be met with "I been on that for months now, you're late." For example, you heard of a new artist and you tell a friend only to hear them complain about how they have been listenin' to that person for a while. WELL, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ANYONE ABOUT IT? There is no prize for being the first or only person to hear about something, so please stop false claiming that you were "on it" before everyone else because chances are you were not.

Have you ever met someone who claimed to have more haters than George Bush? They are always runnin' around proclaimin' "Why are people always hatin' on me?" or "FML, these haters get on my nerves." Everything that goes wrong, they blame it on the haters. They fail a test, the teacher was hating. They miss the bus, the bus driver was hating. News flash, nobody even knows you exist so stop false claiming more haters than you truly have.

Have you ever met someone, or a group of people who have taken the liberty to nickname themselves? False claiming virtues that they KNOW they do not have. These are the people who are always callin' themselves "Gucci" or "Big Stacks" or something that they don't have any business claiming. Don't get me wrong, not all self-proclaimed nicknames are whack or even fictional....but when you call yourself things such as "The Ed Hardy Master" or "The Sneaker King"that nonsense is highly subjective and you should make sure that you really stand up to your name.

Why do YOU you false claim stuff you don't have any business claiming? Btw, Stop it. Please.
