Amendment 1 - Gay Marriage, The Family, The Law

On Tuesday, May 8th, Amendment 1 passed in North Carolina banning gay marriage. The fissure between Conservatives and Liberals widened. The headstrong finger-pointing and broad-brushing that ensued between religious and secular persons showed that regardless of where people stand on the issue, NO ONE is willing to listen and they definitely don't plan on changing their views no matter what's presented to them.

In summation: Everyone lost.
