Shonda Rhimes (born January 13, 1970) is the creator, head writer, and executive producer of ABC's hit show Grey's Anatomy (and it's sister show, Private Practice)! Rhimes earned her Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth University and obtained a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television. She won the Best Drama TV Series Golden Globe award in 2007 for Grey's Anatomy.
