Name: Daniel Chappie James, Jr.

: February 11th, 1920

Known for: Member of the famous Tuskegee Airmen. Joined the segregated United States Army Air Corp while attending Tuskegee Institute, during WWII.

Recognition: Received the Distinguished Service Medal for his service in the Korean War, the Legion of Merit, the Distinguished Flying Cross, and a Presidential Unit Citation.

I was gonna make a joke about him being fly, but how corny is that? Yikes.
