Do me a favor and peep the vid, then check out my spill:
Okay, so...when the Jordan V "Space Jams" were released a few weeks back, it had such a buzz that it became a trending topic on Twitter! I was geeked over the fact that something I love was getting mad props--shoes. A lot of people who don't understand the "hype" behind shoes had their hate on high following this particular shoe release but fail to realize that this sneaker stuff is a CULTURE. It's no different from followers of music (for example, having MusicMonday trending every week).
Regardless of if you watched the video or not, realize that people don't always buy shoes to wear them. People sale, trade, and actually do sneaker shows just to put their large, exclusive collections on display. And I'm sure a ton of people who got their hands on the coveted Jordan V "Space Jam" flipped them for DOUBLE what they actually paid for 'em. You might not give 2 cent about people and their shoes, but don't knock anyone for having hobbies and interests different than your own.
Peace,
Dub
It's not just a sneaker!
