When Social Networks Go Wrong!

^a message that I received on Facebook yesterday

Over a Twitter unfollow, cuh? You could imagine my face when I read this:

What I really want to know is, why has it come to this? Social Networks are so important to us now that we have to resort to calling each other out every time we get unfollowed on Twitter, or defriended on Facebook?

This isn't the first time I have been called out for deciding that I liked a person better, in person, as opposed to their internet persona. Although I would LOVE to have an unfollow option in real life. I never once thought being cut off on a social network was that serious but apparently it's the equivalent of telling a person "you smell like hot garbage and I would rather sit through 5 season's of Yo Gabba Gabba, in Portuguese, than to listen to what you have to say".

Well look, I can't offer anyone that I unfollow or defriend my condolences, because I wasn't making a negative statement towards you and your person. But I do send waves of good fortune and hope to you all......hope that you unlame yourselves.

I've had someone notify me via twitter that I had unfollowed them (...as if I didn't know), but never have they brought it to facebook. lmao

I mean, the internet really isn't that serious. That's all I have to say about that.

The Internet is an illusion and unfortunately we've been blinded by it. I agree with everything about this post.
